City Appoints New Mayor

Congratulations to our newly-appointed Mayor of Peñitas, the honorable Mr. Ramiro Loya! At a special called meeting of the Peñitas City Council, the council unanimously approved the appointment of Mayor Pro-Tem Ramiro Loya as Mayor. After approval of the appointment, Mayor Loya was sworn into office by State Representative Sergio Muñoz, Jr.
